Chief Operating Officer
Prior to Workface, Kevin spent more than 16 years starting and growing two different Minneapolis-based software product and SaaS companies including: establishing strategic direction and growth plans, product and service planning and development, attracting and hiring senior management and front-line personnel, operating model development, significant revenue growth through both direct and indirect global sales channels, capital raising and investor relations, highly effective culture development and other initiatives. He developed and grew a highly sophisticated Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)/Cloud-based business (www.verifybrand.com) focused on product and supply chain security sold and supplied to US and OUS global product manufacturers (e.g. Dell, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, 3M, Lexmark International) and government globally. Kevin graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in economics.
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Lief Larson is the Founder and CEO of Workface Inc. Lief's role with Workface has resulted in the company being featured in CNN, NetworkWorld, The New York Times, and other major media, as well as recognition including the 2010 Social Business Innovation award, the 2010 OnDemand 100 award, and a presenting company at DEMO in 2011. Larson is a software and human factor engineer with over fifteen years' experience in human-machine dynamics, including eight years in self-service kiosk systems and twelve in web-based applications. He has been working in web-based marketing and social media sciences since 2001. He was previously named #8 on Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 10 American Entrepreneurs Under 30 list. Lief founded and grew KIOSK Inc. into one of the world's largest providers of interactive self-service terminal technology solutions, and subsequently navigated the business to a successful sale. During his tenure in that industry he also built the industry publication and premier industry event. In 2004 Lief was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Kiosk & Self-Service industry association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame. Lief is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and has been a mentor to over 200 entrepreneurs during the last decade, including through programs at the Carlson School of Management, TiE Global, Project Skyway, and the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship. Larson attended the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota.
Manager, Sales Operations and Support
Over the last 8 years, Jason has been working with talented thought leaders at prominent technology firms, as a fire-starter for sales, marketing and product development initiatives. Some of his personal wins included Apple, Genentech, Roche, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pandora, Oracle, Nike, Google, Cisco, HP, Salesforce.com, Netflix, Accenture, Citrix, ICANN, GILT, Zynga, Evernote, Kraft, Los Alamos, NASA, LLNL, Sandisk, Samsung, Xilinx, Oliver Wyman, Harvard, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, MIT and other fortune 1000 companies. Jason is an energetic, well-organized leader with a dynamic, goal-driven sales approach lending itself to client and employee loyalty. He’s an individual that brings to the table distinguished passion, conviction, adaptability, an inquisitive mind and good judgment delivered with care, integrity and a get it done approach. Customer Project & Support Manager
Tammy joins Workface with over 20 years of client service experience. She spent 15 years with BI Worldwide leading initiatives to improve the performance of Fortune 100 client's employees, consumers and distribution channels from concept through final analysis. Most recently, Tammy led execution of digital and traditional communication strategies at Twin Cities marketing agencies. Burns Woodhouse holds a B.A. in political sciene, history and American studies from the University of Iowa.
Customer Support Specialist
Rita Humola, our Client Services Specialist, has been training people to fully utilize various types of external user software for over two decades. Rita was also formerly a project manager and business analyst with Jacobs Management, Inc., Korn/Ferry International and Aetna. Rita earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Augsburg College. She is committed to providing excellent training and customer service to Workface clients.
Danny has worked with Workface for the past six years. As the Chief Architect, Danny oversees all of the software development efforts. He has over 15 years of professional software development experience. Danny has spent his entire career pushing the limits of what is possible on the web. He is a recognized leader in the software development industry having published two books, over 40 articles and spoken at many development conferences. Danny is passionate about building complex applications with beautiful design and great user experience.
Evan is a web developer, designer, and system architect who loves developing systems for both online and offline use. He is passionate about optimization, scaling distributed systems, user experience and interfaces, and new technologies. Evan holds a BS in Computer Sciences and Information Systems.
Wade is a software developer, engineer and designer with nearly 2 decades of development experience with such organizations as TheMLSonline, Regis Corp, Home Buyers Marketing and Anderson Cargo Services. Wade specilizes in building clean running, well documented, and highly optimized software, as well as designing software based on customer needs and strict requirements. Wade has worked in many languages and disciplines, up to an including motion control robotics systems for cnc applications. Wendorf attended Lakeland College, where he completed coursework in computer science.
Mark is a full stack developer and engineer. He has been involved in Minnesota technology startups for more than 20 years, with a focus on building scalable and easily maintainable frameworks. Mark does application development, designs and implements new application capabilities, stabilizes infrastructure including databases, generates data visualization for client use and performance of the application, scales the application as needed to accommodate a growing base of active users, meets with clients to understand programmatic requirements, collaborates with and contributes to the development and engineering team to aggressively build a world-class technology. Mark has served in the military and graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in Computer Science.
