Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Lief Larson is the Founder and CEO of Workface Inc. Lief's role with Workface has resulted in the company being featured in CNN, NetworkWorld, The New York Times, and other major media, as well as recognition including the 2010 Social Business Innovation award, the 2010 OnDemand 100 award, and a presenting company at DEMO in 2011. Larson is a software and human factor engineer with over fifteen years' experience in human-machine dynamics, including eight years in self-service kiosk systems and twelve in web-based applications. He has been working in web-based marketing and social media sciences since 2001. He was previously named #8 on Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 10 American Entrepreneurs Under 30 list. Lief founded and grew KIOSK Inc. into one of the world's largest providers of interactive self-service terminal technology solutions, and subsequently navigated the business to a successful sale. During his tenure in that industry he also built the industry publication and premier industry event. In 2004 Lief was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Kiosk & Self-Service industry association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame. Lief is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and has been a mentor to over 200 entrepreneurs during the last decade, including through programs at the Carlson School of Management, TiE Global, Project Skyway, and the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship. Larson attended the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota.
Chief Operating Officer
Prior to Workface, Kevin spent more than 16 years working with two different Minneapolis-based software companies where he help key leadership roles from inception, including: establishing strategic direction, product and service planning and development, key management and front-line personnel hiring, operations model development and significant revenue growth through both direct and indirect sales channels amongst other initiatives. He developed and grew a highly sophisticated Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)/Cloud-based business (www.verifybrand.com) focused on product and supply chain security for top product manufacturers (e.g. Dell, Intel, 3M, Johnson & Johnson, Lexmark International) and government globally. Erdman graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in economics.
Vice President, Sales
With over 25 years of experience uniquely invested in IT industry sales leadership positions, Mike has a background rich in history of driving positive results across local and broad based, national sales organizations, building successful teams and helping to grow the business. He has sold software, hardware, network transport infrastructure and SaaS solutions in direct and channel based models and has hired, mentored, promoted and led teams of sales executives to professional success while achieving strong business results and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction with prior employers. Mike’s career has been dedicated to delivering strategic revenue while fostering a culture of excellence, open communication and building relationships with multiple key stakeholders inside and outside the organization. His years of experience position him well to assume his responsibilities leading the rapidly growing Workface sales team, where Mike will be focused on direct sales growth as well as working with the Workface Channel. Mike earned his BS in Business Administration from Villanova University and holds a Masters in Management from Kellogg at Northwestern University.
Director of Business Development
Bruce spent over 18 years working for a combination of Great Plains Software and Microsoft Corporation. During his career, Bruce has held leadership roles in Sales, Product Marketing, Technical Sales, Training and Customer Service. Bruce's time at Great Plains Software and Microsoft Corporation provided a strong foundation for business not only from these great companies but also from the tremendous opportunity he had to work with literally thousands of channel Partners around the globe. Bruce carries a great passion for and has demonstrated skill around channel distribution models, business development, and taking a customer viewpoint to a company's approach and messages. Bruce attended North Dakota State University.
Prior to Workface, Robby was the Global Account Manager Online Solutions for Korn Ferry International, where he was responsible managing client relationships and training for their SaaS solutions. Robby was also a Project Manager for Questar Data Systems where he managed feedback programs and software interpretation. Wiens is a BA Business Management graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College.
Customer Project & Support Manager
Tammy joins Workface with over 20 years of client service experience. She spent 15 years with BI Worldwide leading initiatives to improve the performance of Fortune 100 client's employees, consumers and distribution channels from concept through final analysis. Most recently, Tammy led execution of digital and traditional communication strategies at Twin Cities marketing agencies. Burns Woodhouse holds a B.A. in political sciene, history and American studies from the University of Iowa.
Carissa was formerly a trainer and HR Administrator for Ferguson Enterprises where she coordinated efforts between branch, regional, and corporate resources to train staff in the areas of mentoring, job skills, product knowledge, safety, and SOP's, as well as a Marketing Manager for Keller Williams Realty where she developed marketing strategies to increase sales, generate leads, and brand the business. Belden obtained a BS in Human Development and a Masters in Secondary Education from Warner Pacific College.
Evan is a web developer, designer, and system architect who loves developing systems for both online and offline use. He is passionate about optimization, scaling distributed systems, user experience and interfaces, and new technologies. Evan holds a BS in Computer Sciences and Information Systems.
Senior Web Developer
Lindsay is a senior web developer and data engineer with over 14 years of application development experience and is fluent in a multitude of platforms, languages and databases. Former employers include Gulfstream Aerospace and Start Sensor Technology. She is a positive influence in the Minneapolis metro area as an active volunteer both with area youth and neighborhood associations. Techel earned a Computer Science degree from College of Wooster in Wooster, OH.
Wade is a senior programmer with over 15 years of development experience with such organizations as TheMLSonline, Regis Corp, Home Buyers Marketing and Anderson Cargo Services. He prides himself on his ability to learn and understand new programs and languages in a short period of time, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations. His diverse programming and development background enables him to customize rapid application development techniques to suit customer needs. Wendorf attended Lakeland College, where he completed coursework in computer science.
