Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Lief Larson is the Founder and CEO of Workface Inc. Lief’s role with Workface has resulted in the company being featured in CNN, NetworkWorld, The New York Times, and other major media, as well as recognition including the 2010 Social Business Innovation award, the 2010 OnDemand 100 award, and a presenting company at DEMO in 2011. Larson is a software and human factor engineer with over fifteen years’ experience in human-machine dynamics, including eight years in self-service kiosk systems and twelve in web-based applications. He has been working in web-based marketing and social media sciences since 2001. He was previously named #8 on Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 10 American Entrepreneurs Under 30 list. Lief founded and grew KIOSK Inc. into one of the world’s largest providers of interactive self-service terminal technology solutions, and subsequently navigated the business to a successful sale. During his tenure in that industry he also built the industry publication and premier industry event. In 2004 Lief was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Kiosk & Self-Service industry association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame. Lief is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and has been a mentor to over 200 entrepreneurs during the last decade, including through programs at the Carlson School of Management, TiE Global, Project Skyway, and the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship. Larson attended the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota.

Chief Marketing Officer

Kirsten Chapman is a business and marketing executive with nearly 30 years' experience in the IT industry, specializing in strategic market development. Chapman’s expertise in marketing strategy, product marketing and communications, combined with her early career in sales with IBM, Honeywell Information Systems and Cap Gemini, give her a unique perspective on building and executing go-to-market strategies and programs that drive revenues and position companies to achieve their most advantageous valuations. In addition to founding KC Associates in 1988, Chapman’s professional consulting career includes executive duties as the marketing director for Authorware (1988-1989), vice president of marketing for Worth Information (1992-1993) and chief marketing and alliances officer for illuminate Solutions (2008-2009). In 2002, Chapman co-founded SoftwareMinds, a custom and syndicated research venture that provided software and IT services firms marketing and product management benchmark data as well as high-level strategy consulting services. Kirsten has been an adjunct professor and guest lecturer (graduate and undergraduate levels) at the Universities of Minnesota and St. Thomas, specializing in business strategy and policy as well as organizational behavior. She has been an invited speaker on a wide variety of marketing-related topics for the Minnesota Software Association, Frontline Forum, Minnesota High Tech Association, Microsoft’s Channel Partner Summit, and Software Business magazine. She holds a master’s degree in strategic management from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Denver.

Bruce spent over 18 years working for a combination of Great Plains Software and Microsoft Corporation. During his career, Bruce has held leadership roles in Sales, Product Marketing, Technical Sales, Training and Customer Service. Bruce's time at Great Plains Software and Microsoft Corporation provided a strong foundation for business not only from these great companies but also from the tremendous opportunity he had to work with literally thousands of channel Partners around the globe. Bruce carries a great passion for and has demonstrated skill around channel distribution models, business development, and taking a customer viewpoint to a company's approach and messages. Bruce attended North Dakota State University.

Allen Witters was a founder and former CTO of WAM!NET Inc., the 18th fastest growing company in the world from 1998-2001 which successfully grew from 0-65,000 corporate clients in 4 years, including 75% of the Global 5,000. Allen is responsible for operational readiness at Workface, including strategic growth initiates and business planning.

Account Manager

Courtney's professional experience includes Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Office Management. When she is not at work, she enjoys volunteering with Youth For Understanding (YFU) an exchange Student Program. Her expertise are organization, problem solving, Power Point presentations, and reaching out to the customers. Prior to joining Workface, Courtney worked with Snow-Larson, Medtronic and Atomic Props.
