About Me

I was born in Switzerland in 1958 and Im presently based in the greater Zurich area. Im married for 22 years and we have two children.

I hold law degrees of the Universities of Berne (Dr. iur., M Law) and Harvard Law School (LL.M.). After a distinguished academic career I joined private practice. I worked as a corporate lawyer and business consultant in Zurich from 1985 to 2000 and was senior partner of a Zurich law firm before starting his own business in 1996. Besides that I was member of the board of directors of several pharmaceutical and IT companies. In 2000 I co-founded Pendragon Medical Inc. and I am also one of the co-developer of Pendragons proprietary non-invasive technology for measuring blood parameters and co-author of several scientific articles dealing with this technology and respective clinical results. I was responsible for all operational business activities of Pendragon Medical since its incorporation in March 2000 up to October 2004 when I left the company. I am a member of several scientific and economic societies. Presently, I am managing director of PMIC Consultant + Management Ltd., a Company I founded in 2000 and that is providing business consultant services, mainly in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry area.
