Heralded in the pages of The New York Times, Newsday, Good Eats Magazine, and Gourmet Magazine, Chef Joe Ciminera is recognized the world over for his fearlessness in the kitchen. Dedicated to exploring all of the endless possibilities of food, Chef Ciminera has invented a number of truly unique dishes, including Italian Sushi, Asian Cannoli, and the famous "Braised Short Rib and Monkfish Roulade," among many other exotic concoctions. Chef Joe Ciminera began his creative culinary pursuits as a young chef in Milan, Italy. Working under the tutelage of Master Chef Vincenzo Provino, Joe Ciminera quickly learned the rigorous demands of fine cuisine as a chef at the famous Hotel Venesia. Demonstrating exceptional potential for such a young chef, Joe Ciminera continued his rapid ascent in the culinary ranks at some of the most celebrated restaurants in the world, including Le Cirque, Les Celebrites, Le Petite Bijou, and Carmines. Prior to developing Taste This T.V.!, Chef Joe Ciminera produced and hosted two popular cable cooking shows: "Joseph Plays with Food" and "Eat at Joe's." Chef Ciminera is also a published author with two books to his name. Chef Cimineras first book, In the Weeds: A Chefs Tales, co-written with Chef Bryan Naylor, found tremendous success for its humorous and occasionally horrifying tales of life in fine cuisine from over 50 chefs. Chef Joe Cimineras second book, Joseph Cimineras New American Cooking, focuses on Chef Cimineras own unique style of cooking and contains some of his favorite recipes.
