Sally Brinkmann earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Redlands and took on affiliations with the Associates of Clinical Pharmacology, Drug Information Association, Project Management Institute, Regulatory Affairs Professional Society, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. As a First Lieutenant, Sally Brinkmann served and received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force Nurse Corps. Sally Brinkmann attended The Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing for her Registered Nurse Diploma. Currently, Sally Brinkmann is working on her Masters Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. Sally Brinkmann is a certified trauma nurse by the Emergency Nurses Association, as well as a certified procurement transplant coordinator and pediatric intensive care nurse.
Sally Brinkmann began her career as a critical care nurse, both adult and pediatric. Sally Brinkmann was a transplant coordinator for the California Transplant Donor Network. On behalf of the organization, Sally Brinkmann educated the public on the positives of organ donation. Sally Brinkmann coordinated the networks activities and donor database for northern and central California. In addition, Sally Brinkmann offered donor families support during and after the process.
Moving on to clinical research and consultation, Sally Brinkmann acted as a Regional Clinical Research Associate at IBRD-Rostrum Global. Sally Brinkmann piloted Phase II through IV studies and led teams of clinical research associates through dialysis and renal failure studies. Sally Brinkmann educated clinical research associates by writing manuals, instructions, and guidelines. Sally Brinkmann later managed specific research trials involving organ transplant studies at Hoffmann-La Roche and, from there, went on to form her own private consulting firm as an Independent Clinical Research Consultant. As a senior-level director and advisor, Sally Brinkmann oversees all phases of clinical trials and briefs her teams on the companys processes. Sally Brinkmann discovers violations that can affect data and acceptance by the FDA and advises her clients on ways to amend any problems. Sally Brinkmann creates study milestones and plans for her pharmaceutical company clients.
