Esteemed financial advisor, fundraiser, and former attorney Robert J. Pape Jr. pursues a multi-faceted career serving a diverse community of individuals and organizations. Pape possesses expertise in all phases of estate planning, wealth preservation, and management as an attorney for over 20 years in the state of New York. Pape has utilized his fundraising skills while working with the Boy Scouts of America as Associate Regional Director of the Regional Endowment Counsel for the Northeast Region. In this role, Robert J. Pape Jr. instructed the 71 representative Councils in the region on planned giving techniques and strategies. Pape facilitated over $10 million in major and planned gifts to the capital campaigns and endowment funds of these Councils. He also worked as an advisor to the National Foundation of the Boy Scouts of America in Dallas, Texas, to coordinate closing large donations on behalf of the organization. In 2005, Robert J. Pape Jr. joined the Institute for Student Achievement in Lake Success, New York, first as Development Consultant then as Manager of Development Operations. Pape was responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of all phases of board-generated development, including annual appeals, donor cultivation, and special event fundraising. Robert J. Pape Jr. continued his career in community involvement and assistance as Director of Fundraising at the Interfaith Nutrition Network in Hempstead, New York. Pape was responsible for arranging fundraising activities and developing fundraising plans to meet the budget of 19 soup kitchens in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York. After working with Interfaith Nutrition Network, Robert J. Pape Jr. established Pape Consulting Services in Port Washington, New York. The firm specializes in services to non-profit organizations, including creation and implementation of strategic fundraising plans, fundraising initiative development, and grant writing. Robert J. Pape Jr. lectures widely on charitable giving techniques. He serves as a member of the tuition committee and an eighth grade instructor at the St. Peter of Alcantara School in Port Washington, New York. Notably, Pape is a chaplain and volunteer fireman with the Port Washington Fire Department, in which capacity he was one of the first responders to the 9/11 attacks.
