With more than two decades of experience in real estate finance and related fields, Robert Noeldechen is a Principal with Ahern & Partners. Robert has significant expertise in asset & investment management,lender underwriting, due diligence, strategy, acquisitions, business development,people development, and Restructuring Advisory. Robert Noeldechen began his career in finance with Shearson Lehman Brothers/EF Hutton in New York. Robert Noeldechen spent 1991 through 1998 as a Vice President, with Ahern & Partners. During that time, Robert Noeldechen specialized in real estate-based underperforming businesses and distress situations. He led the restructuring and management of a former REIT for its creditors. Immediately prior to assuming his current role, Robert Noeldechen served as an Equity Principal and leadership member of the Transaction Real Estate group at Ernst & Young. An alumnus of New York University, Robert Noeldechen holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development and Investment with a secondary concentration in Valuation from New York University. Robert Noeldechen earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. Johns University in Jamaica, New York. As a result of his ability to track and analyze relevant trends, Robert Noeldechen has become a sought-after public speaker and has been a guest panelist at the ULI Philadelphia Young Leaders Roundtable and a guest lecturer in the Master of Science in Real Estate Development and Investment program at New York University, and a Panelist for the Real Estate Investment Securities Association. He is a frequent market commentator in Mortgage Banker Association Articles. Robert enjoys sharing knowledge and training junior colleagues.
