Reece Dylan also has the ability to manage a project from start to finish, from requirements gathering and design through implementation and testing to deployment, client training and support. Not only is Reece Dylan an expert with presentation layer technologies, he has also developed content-managed intranets with document management facilities, interactive Web sites and e-mail marketing tools.



Moving into the alphabet area of Reece Dylans skill set, he can provide web application and database design and implementation in PHP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ASP, Actionscript, Websphere/Web Logic, VBScript, XML, XSL SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle. Reece Dylan can install and maintain systems, networks and applications. Reece Dylan also counts among his abilities windows networking administration, UNIX skills and an understanding of Internet Protocols.

Reece Dylans Work History

Reece Dylan most recently served as a network security and encryption consultant for Microsoft. Reece Dylans role for the software giant was to develop a new encryption platform for their current network, and also develop and implement a new secure network structure throughout the organisation.



Reece Dylan also served as senior developer for the Ministry of Defence, where he oversaw the development and deployment of a new encryption and security-based technology.



At the end of 2004, Reece Dylan worked as lead technical developer for an organization called The Really Useful Group, where he re-structured, designed and developed the main Web site, www.reallyuseful.com, along with one of its production sites, www.thephantomoftheopera.com.



Reece Dylan did some consulting work for the Deutsche Bank, where, as senior developer, he re-developed the banks Techmart system, which is part of their internal asset management systems. The redevelopment involved migrating the banks underlying databases from MySQL to Oracle, and recoding the entire project with Coldfusion.



Another stint was as graphic designer and developer for Carphone Warehouse and Virgin. For this project, Reece Dylan designed, developed and tested an E-Learning system for Virgin that would be used by employees of Carphone Warehouse as a tool to build knowledge about the Virgin Mobile Brand, Tarrif and Phones.



Prior to that, Reece Dylan worked as lead developer for Cable and Wireless and Hyperlink Interactive, developing on the Criminal Justice Secure Mail Network. Reece Dylans role was to create new features such as auto configuration files for their mail applications, fix bugs within the system and stress test. Reece Dylan developed a file management system, and a content management system. Reece Dylan also had to go through all previous code and restructure to meet W3 Standards, as well as configuring changes to their Mirapoint Servers.



Another position was as technical manager for MTL. In this project, Reece Dylan produced several content-managed websites. Reece Dylan oversaw the full project lifecycle. Reece Dylan also developed an application which connected to ships at sea via satellite to grab data and bring it back to the data center. Reece Dylan also created add-ons to packages such as Sage, Quickbooks so data could be posted into these for billing. Reece Dylan worked with MTL from 2003 to 2004.



Prior to MTL, Reece Dylan served in 2003 as technical developer for Alchemy Digital. While with Alchemy, Reece Dylan contributed to a range of Websites including marketing and large content-managed sites. Reece Dylan used websphere/weblogic for various communications, e-commerce and portal projects. Reece Dylan was responsible for code, database and component design and implementation.



Reece Dylan has also worked as a Web developer for Datasouth UK. This position involved PHP- and MySQL-based content-managed websites. Reece Dylan worked as part of a small team with responsibility for delivering fully featured sites within short timeframes some of which was using Websphere Commerce/Portal and Translation Server some projects. Reece Dylan served with Datasouth from 2002 to 2003.



Reece Dylans Education

Reece Dylan holds a bachelors degree in computer science from the University of Manchester. Additionally, Reece Dylan completed a weeklong training course in Java in 2000, offered by Sun Microsystems. Reece Dylan participated in a training and mentoring program offered by Web-Imps, which allowed him to learn how to develop Enterprise Java components and Java Server Pages.



Reece Dylan is a member of eight professional organizations, including the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Technical Council on Software Engineering and the International Council on Systems Engineering.
