Demonstrating strong leadership skills and keen industry know-how, Raul Harris obtained his mortgage broker license after only three years. Today, Mr. Harris is the Principal and CEO of Desert State Mortgage, LLC in Phoenix, Arizona. As the CEO of Desert State Mortgage, Raul Harris currently oversees every phase of the companys operations. He also remains dedicated to providing excellent service to clients as one of the companys expert Loan Officers. Prior to joining Desert State Mortgage, Mr. Raul Harris worked for American Mortgage Specialists and American Home Mortgage. During his time with American Home Mortgage, Mr. Harris was recognized with an award for his excellent customer service. Mr. Raul Harris studied engineering at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and computer science at the University of Advancing Technology (UAT) in Tempe, Arizona. Harris was also a successful student athlete. He was a member of the football team and was All American Track in college and in high school. Harris earned his Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from UAT in 2001, graduating with a 3.25 GPA. Mr. Raul Harris also holds an FAA A&P and Pilot License. Aside from his career, Mr. Raul Harris dedicates his time and energy to bettering his community, serving as a mentor to at-risk youths. He also frequently donates to the local Childrens Hospital. Although a great portion of Mr. Harris time goes toward his professional work and community service, he still sets aside time for the activities he enjoys. As a pilot, Mr. Raul Harris enjoys flying airplanes. He also enjoys taking road trips and many outdoor activities with his family.
