Praised for his level of care and individualized attention while treating his young patients, Dr. Ralph Zotovich has established himself as a leader in the pediatric dentistry field. As a dentist who specializes in working with children, Dr. Zotovich offers dental services in his private practice and has provided humanitarian aid for disadvantaged youth from all over the world. Dr. Zotovich gives the kindest care to every patient, fostering good oral habits from an early age.



A memorable part of Ralph Zotovichs professional career is his post-graduate education and world dental aid work. Dr. Zotovich helped create a mobile dental clinic that was transferred from Mountain View, California for use in Split, Yugoslavia. Zotovich traveled to Yugoslavia and treated the needy children in Splits community. Outside of Athens, Greece, Dr. Ralph Zotovich gave dental check-ups and treatment to disadvantaged youth. In the United States, Dr. Zotovich volunteered dental services to Apache children at their reservations Federal Medical and Dental Clinic in Globe, Arizona. Dr. Zotovich also traveled to Central California, where he offered his expertise to children of migrant farm workers who would otherwise go without dental care.



Dr. Ralph Zotovich opened his San Jose practice in 1977. Dr. Zotovich provides many dental services, ranging from cleanings and oral hygiene education, fluoride treatment, and general checkups to pit and fissure sealants and interceptive orthodontics. Dr. Zotovich presents his patients with a sense of calm and understanding while going through dental procedures by using child-friendly communication techniques, including demonstrations, non-verbal signs, show-and-tell, and positive reinforcement. If any anesthesia is needed or requested by the parent, Dr. Zotovichs top priority is the childs safety. When delivering nitrous oxide or dental or intravenous anesthesia, Dr. Zotovich calls on the citys top experts.



Dr. Zotovichs caring Registered Dental Assistant team has been working with him for nearly 20 years. Collectively, Dr. Zotovich and his staff speak English, Hindi, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Tagalog, allowing them to provide the best possible dental service. Dr. Z and all of his employees have children, affording them with invaluable practical knowledge for conducting pediatric dentistry.



Board Trained and Qualified in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Zotovich earned his Certificate, Bachelor of Science, and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco Medical School. Ralph Zotovich earned the schools Willard B. Fleming Scholarship Award and became a Fellow of the American Society of Dentistry for Children in 1992.
