Led by Norman Meier, Hemis Corporation has become a leader in its field and is publicly traded on the OTCBB under the symbol HMSO and on the Frankfurt stock exchange under the symbol XZA. Before establishing Hemis Corporation, Norman Meier founded LEAP Institute LLC, a financial advisory firm. From 2002 to 2004, Norman Meier held the position of Manager Global Sales Support at Man Investments, Switzerland. As the Manager of Global Sales Support for the hedge fund management company, Norman Meier directed a diverse team of sales professionals in raising funds from a variety of financial institutions, banks, and brokers. Prior to his work with Man Investments, Norman Meier served as an Investment Advisor for Canaccord Capital. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Canaccord Capital offered a wide-range of investment management services. In his position, Norman Meier helped private individuals, as well as institutional clients, safely manage risk in their investment portfolios. Norman Meier began his career in finance as a Financial Advisor for AWD Independent Financial Services in Switzerland. Demonstrating significant success early in his career, Norman Meier was quickly promoted to the role of Team Manager. While at AWD, Norman Meier was honored as the best team leader in Europe, beating out more than a thousand other individuals. Norman Meier maintains a number of professional designations, including the Canadian Investment Manager Designation and the Derivatives Market Specialist Designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. Norman Meier was also awarded a Financial Planning Designation from AWD Switzerland. A graduate of Newport University in Switzerland, Norman Meier possesses several degrees, including a PhD in Human Behavior, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts.
