About Me

As CEO of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, Dr. Nick Trombetta directs all aspects of the online learning center. The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, or PA Cyber, works to meet the learning needs of over 6,500 students and has seen increased enrollment year over year since its founding in 2000. PA Cyber is committed to helping students learn and succeed through online education. Under the direction of Dr. Trombetta, PA Cyber offers accredited course work and challenging, personal instruction to every student. It also affords a more flexible schedule than brick and mortar schools. With a physical address in Midland, Pennsylvania, PA Cyber has generated jobs for a local economy that was struggling after the local steel industry collapsed. A man committed to meeting the future needs of students across the country, Trombetta founded the National Network of Digital Schools, a management foundation specializing in digital learning.



After taking his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Slippery Rock State University, Dr. Nick Trombetta enrolled in a Masters program at Dayton University. Trombetta graduated from the Dayton, Ohio campus with a Masters of Education Administration that he leveraged toward his work in the public education system. After teaching, coaching and administering at various public schools, Trombetta returned to school himself in the 1990s. Dr. Nick Trombetta completed his doctoral work in 2000, taking a Doctor of Education Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Trombetta is also a graduate of Quigley Catholic High School.



Dr. Nick Trombetta is a member of the American Association of School Administrators and also works with the Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools Executive Committee. Trombetta enjoys reading in his free time and counts John Grisham and Peter Senge among his favorite authors. He is also partial to management literature, especially Who Moved My Cheese, Visionary Leadership and Our Iceberg is Melting.



Nick Trombetta is a proponent of online learning and is engaged in local, state and national politics.
