About Me

Dr. Natalie Stiglitz works at the University of Louisville as the Director for the Office of Civic Education and Engagement. Additionally, Natalie Stiglitz has served as an Instructor for the Department of Teaching and Learning teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of assessment and research, school leadership, and civic literacy.



As the Director for the Office of Civic Education and Engagement, Stiglitz collaborates with educators and policymakers from across the commonwealth. Natalie Stiglitz currently oversees the Kentucky Teacher Network for Excellence in Civic Education and Engagement in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education. These collaborative efforts have brought more than one million dollars to the University of Louisville to assist in promoting civic education and engagement for the state of Kentucky.



In 1997 Stiglitz graduated from the University of Kentucky with her Masters in Secondary Education with a focus in Social Studies. Stiglitz moved on to the University of Louisville where she earned her PhD in Educational Leadership Organization Development with a specialization in P-12 Administration. Dr. Stiglitz is extremely well educated but her passion and dedication are what make her the best at what she does.
