Oklahoma-based Mathis Brothers Furniture is a family-run retailer operating since 1955. Two generations of Mathis Brothers have run the company over the decades, persistently striving to offer its clientele affordable prices and quality products. Dedicated to its community, Mathis Brothers also participates in several philanthropic endeavors.

Since its establishment, Mathis Brothers has expanded to include at least nine affiliated locations peppered throughout Oklahoma and California. Founded by Don and Bud Mathis in 1955, Mathis Brothers was officially acquired by Don's sons Bill and Larry Mathis in 1988. Upon retiring, Don Mathis founded Factory Direct in 1992, a mattress factory that allowed customers to see their purchased mattresses during the manufacturing process. The younger Mathis brothers later bought Factory Direct from their father and in 2001 relocated operations to a new technologically advanced factory. In 1993, Mathis Brothers opened a new location in Tulsa. Six years later, another store was launched in Indio, California. The most recent Mathis Brothers retail store opened in 2007 and is located in Ontario, California. Furniture brands carried by Mathis Brothers include Guildcraft of California, Lillian August, and Stanley Furniture. Mathis Brothers stocks mattresses of all labels, including Eco Comfort and Tempur-Pedic, in all sizes. Instead of keeping customers guessing at their pricing system, Mathis Brothers did away with the temporary markdown system and offers low prices every day. Mathis Brothers employs a staff of enthusiastic and knowledgeable customer service representatives, designers, and furniture vendors.

Continuously committed to bettering local communities, Mathis Brothers has forged partnerships with and made significant financial contributions to a number of charities. Philanthropic organizations that have benefited from Mathis Brothers' support include the American Red Cross, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, City Rescue Mission. Relay for Life, Urban Angels, and Science Museum Oklahoma.
