About Me

Currently serving as the Co-Chairman and Senior Portfolio Manager of the investment management and advisory services firm Sands Brothers Asset Management, Martin S. Sands has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and wealth management.



A co-founder of the company, Martin Sands established Sands Brothers Asset Management in 1999 with his brother Steven. Since that time, Martin Sands has been a major part of the firms sustained growth. Martin Sands has worked extensively in the areas of asset management and real estate management and also has extensive managerial expertise.



Martin Sands has been responsible for creating Select Access LLC, a large fund of funds that has helped his company branch into new revenue streams. Additionally, Martin Sands has used Select Access to become a principal or investor in a number of opportunities related to late stage venture capital funds. Martin Sands has also spearheaded efforts to acquire, renovate and sell 500,000 square feet of Class A commercial real estate.



Prior to his work in the investment management industry, Martin Sands earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Union College. In his free time, Martin Sands is involved in numerous charitable organizations and is a prominent supporter of youth lacrosse. A committed family man, Martin Sands currently lives with his wife and four children in Greenwich, Connecticut.
