My Experience

Noted Economist Luciana Suran earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Luciana Suran subsequently attended New York University in New York City, receiving her Master's degree in the same field.

Luciana Suran performs comprehensive research in the policy, transportation, and health fields. Currently working as an Economist for CBRE Econometric Advisors (CBRE-EA) in Boston, Massachusetts, Luciana Suran oversees econometric models involving industrial real estate markets and various other new econometric projects. CBRE-EA delivers personalized research and advice to its clients in order to improve their real estate portfolios.

Luciana Suran also conducted a report on the relationship between health care policy, political systems, and economics for John Snow, Inc. (JSI). Working to enhance the health of individuals and communities for more than 30 years, JSI provides technical and administrative assistance. JSI possesses responsibility for projects in 104 countries, with eight offices in the United States and 81 in other countries.

For almost three years, Luciana Suran served as a Policy Research Intern and Consultant for The Population Council, Inc. Focusing its efforts on HIV and AIDS, poverty, and reproductive health, New York City-based Population Council possesses offices in 18 countries across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. During her tenure with Population Council, Luciana Suran contributed to international economic and health policy research.

Luciana Suran participates with The Boston Economic Club, National Association for Business Economics, and the Urban Land Institute. She also donates to charities such as Save the Children and the Haitian relief effort Pwoje Espwa Sud.

During her spare time, Luciana Suran enjoys travel, music, independent films, and soccer. Luciana Suran is currently enrolled in a CFA Program.
