My Experience
Currently serving as President of the Palo Duro Cattle Co., Inc., Mrs. Judy Corbin possesses extensive business management experience. Judy Corbin and her husband, renowned horse trainer Don Corbin, began the Angus cattle breeding and dog breeding company over 20 years ago. Today, Judy Corbin leads the team at Palo Duro Cattle Co. as Chief Financial Officer and Sales Manager for puppies. Judy Corbin leverages over 35 years of dog breeding experience toward producing award-winning Yorkshire Terriers and Pomeranians.
In addition to dog breeding, Judy Corbin, a member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), is known throughout the nation for her considerable horsemanship skills. Over the course of her professional career, Judy Corbin has built a solid reputation for her role as an AQHA World Champion Quarter Horse trainer and exhibitor. Respected for her deep knowledge of the subject, Judy Corbin judged the Appaloosa World Championship Show three times and the Appaloosa National Championship Show four times. Additionally, Judy Corbin traveled to Rome, Italy, to judge the Italian Quarter Horse Futurity Championship.
Judy Corbin holds a Certificate of Outstanding Achievements from the ApHC. A former real estate agent, Judy Corbin is a graduate of Norris Real Estate School.
Passionate about animals and animal welfare, Judy Corbin is a regular contributor to organizations such as the Valencia County Animal Shelter. Judy Corbin also supports the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and World Vision.
A resident of New Mexico, Judy Corbin enjoys horse training and spending time with friends and family. Judy Corbin is an avid reader who particularly enjoys the works of Larry McMurtry, Edna Ferber, and James A. Michener.
