Mr. Jed Brettschneider is the Founder and Managing Member of Health Management Advisors, LLC d/b/a HMA Direct, a group of companies comprising a licensed General Agency (GA), an independent Third Party Administrator (TPA), and a Managing General t Underwriter (MGU). In this capacity, Jed Brettschneider leads a dedicated staff in providing various benefits consulting services to a wide variety of companies. Under Jed Brettschneiders keen leadership, HMA Direct has expanded to include a number of subsidiaries since its inception. Prior to founding HMA Direct, Jed Brettschneider served as the President of JLB Insurance Agency, Inc. Jed is recognized among his colleagues as a leader. He played an instrumental role in the successes of numerous small businesses. Before stepping into his first executive position, Jed Brettschneider served as an Agent and Sales Manager for a prominent insurance company. Jed Brettschneider excelled in this role, eventually achieving the rank of number one producing agent in the country. Today, Jed Brettschneider is well known for his expertise in a broad range of areas, including self-funding or health plans, fully insured benefit plans, ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, and compliance policies. Nationally, Jed is recognized for his work with The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as a member of the well respected Capitol Club and is an active member of the United States Holocaust Museum. He is also regular a supporter of the Special Olympics. Jed Brettschneider currently resides in Norton, Massachusetts.
