About Me
Jean Conille gives the term under dog a whole new meaning. His uprising through the social ranks in a racially unjust world is a testament to his passion and drive to succeed.
Born in Haiti, Conille was the third youngest out of four. He set himself apart from his siblings by having a phenomenal memory as well as a systematic and orderly approach to problem solving. Conille competed in the national chess championship at the age of 7. Soon after, Jeans parents moved him from his native country of Haiti to Montreal, Canada where he skipped two grades, completing high school by the age of 15.
While pursuing his degree in Physics Technology at College Andre Laurendeau, Jeans mother died from a chronic illness. Unable to complete his program for personal reasons, Jean decided to switch gears and start his first telecommunications company, which he rightfully named after his beloved mother, Les Entreprises Marie Darbouze. By the time Jean reached the age of 22, he had transformed himself into a millionaire. Coming into money and power did not seem to end all of his hardships. Authorities stereotyped him to be involved in illegal activities merely because Conille was wealthy, young, and black. The social injustice didnt end here. Mr. Conille astutely pointed out that even in the corporate realm with respected professionals that carried on business with him, they still would not dare bring him into their inner circle by extending an invitation to personal events. Nevertheless, Jean did not let this obstacle stand in his path to achieving major success.
Recently, Jean created the Jean Conille Foundation, an organization that is meant to reach out to young ethnic entrepreneurs and aid them in attaining their goals of success. Jeans mission is to educate people on the effects that contributions made by a visible minority to the Canadian society can have. Jean Conilles conquest for victory truly makes him an admirable and inspirational individual.
