Johns Hopkins alumna Jaya Vadlamudi currently resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to develop her successful marketing career following eight years of experience in New York. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations in 1999, Jaya Vadlamudi joined investment management company Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Marketing Associate. She assisted in the improvement of the company website, writing over 50 articles featured on the homepage, and created brochures and newsletters for potential and existing clients. Jaya Vadlamudi went on to become Marketing Manager with New York auction house Sotheby's, developing marketing plans for over 15 departments. Through her efforts in print advertising and event marketing, Vadlamudi aided in the sale of numerous collections and art pieces, including a $28.5 million painting and works by Picasso and Warhol. Jaya Vadlamudis internal responsibilities also included coordinating promotional layout with the design team, resulting in effective marketing materials to attract clients. In 2005, Jaya Vadlamudi enrolled in New York University to become certified in Integrated Marketing Communications. Jaya Vadlamudis education and professional success enabled Vadlamudi to relocate to California, where she joined fashion brand Maxrave, a division of BCBG Max Azria, as Senior Marketing Manager. Jaya Vadlamudi conducted in-depth research to identify the brand's target demographic and developed several events and online campaigns to entice new consumers. Vadlamudis ventures included in-store Pepsi Summerbash Concert Sweepstakes and weekly email promotions, augmenting revenue by up to 47% on featured products. Jaya Vadlamudi also implemented interactive features on the brand's website, including a blog and virtual CD. Currently, Jaya Vadlamudi divides her time between regional charities like L.A. Works and the Midnight Mission Housing Project in Inglewood, CA.
