About Me

Dr. V. James Makker is a neurosurgeon who has been practicing since 2002. Located in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Dr. Makker takes patients from all over the Portland area. His educational excellence extends back as far as high school, where he graduated early. He studied for his undergrad degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. After four years of work there, he took on another four years at the School of Medicine located at the same university. Following that, he had a seven year residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. His area of specialty was neurological surgery. Since entering into practice, he has gone on to be certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He has committed himself to the highest standards for intracranial and spinal procedures.
