SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Led the Finance Systems team, within Fidelitys Retirement Services division, consistently delivering results which positively impacted the bottom line. Addressed both the strategic and tactical needs of the Finance organization over a 6 year period. Developed strong partnership with Finance personnel and promoted close collaboration on all systems solutions.
Managed the creation of a new 401(k) Client Billing system, which administers $1 billion in recordkeeping fees annually. New solution vastly reduced large plan invoice cycle time from 60 days to 3 days, significantly improving cash flow.
Solution was successfully leveraged across 5 Fidelity business units and received Fidelitys Outstanding Service Award.
Pioneered the Finance Data Mart using BRIO, Informatica, and Oracle (star schema), allowing end users to directly access data, providing rich adhoc analysis capability, and improved decision making. Eliminated 80% of adhoc requests to the systems organization, freeing up 2 SQL developers for more value added work.
Led Client Profitability initiative providing insightful analysis on the profitability of individual Fidelity clients. Extracted data from 50+ data sources across Fidelity in order to establish a P&L statement for each client. Account Executive compensation was subsequently tied to the new client profitability model.
Delivered systematic methodology to charge for 401(k) in-service withdrawals, attaining $1.2MM in new annual revenue.
Automated a highly complex, manually intensive nightly cycle, freeing existing staff for more value added development efforts and ensuring team consistently achieved daily service levels with our business partners.
Drove the technology effort to evaluate, select, and implement a third party Learning Management System solution utilized by 240,000 worldwide users.
