Ed Kang, Pastor of Gracepoint Fellowship Church in Berkeley, California, is a compassionate and deeply insightful spiritual leader with over 28 years of ministry experience. Leading Gracepoint together with his wife, Kelly, Pastor Kang provides ministries for college students, families and their children, and busy professionals. Established almost 30 years ago under the name Berkland Baptist Church, Ed Kang and Gracepoint Fellowship Church continue to develop and expand their outreach to both seekers and believers. Ed Kang has created a vibrant spiritual and socially conscious ministry with inspirational praise, dynamic teaching, powerful preaching, and a multilevel staff. Ed Kangs church administration affirms a unisex and intergenerational ministry model, regardless of color, age, class, or gender. Through his visionary leadership and compassionate approach, Pastor Ed Kang has cast a holistic vision for 21st century ministries that is spiritually based and socially relevant. In addition to empowering members of his church and helping them effectively live out their faith, Pastor Ed Kang and Gracepoint Fellowship Church provide a multitude of ministries for college students, international students, working professionals, , youth and children. Pastor Kang also provides various educational courses, addressing a multitude of spiritual needs for the churchs diverse group of members. Pastor Ed Kang shares his love for God with all those he meets. Over the years, his vision and drive remain the same: To build up a Christ-centered church that equips every believer and both engages and embraces the community around it. Pastor Ed Kang can readily be found sharing a meal and some laughs with people, leading hikes through the Sierras or displaying his uncanny reverse lay-up in a game of basketball. Pastor Ed Kang and Kelly Kang have enjoyed over 20 years of marriage and are blessed with three lovely children, oldest of whom attends UC Berkeley.
