About Me

A more than 20-year veteran of the Chiropractic profession, Dr. Michael Manginelli is highly dedicated to advancing the science of Chiropractic Medicine and preventative healthcare. To this end, Dr. Manginelli is a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Association of Integrative Medicine, a Diplomate of the College of Pain Management, and a member of both the American Academy of Head, Neck, & Facial Pain and the American Academy of Spine Physicians.



Currently, Dr. Michael Manginelli implements his considerable talents as an Attending Physician on the Chiropractic Medical Staff of Columbus Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Aside from his substantial expertise in Chiropractic Medicine, Dr. Michael Manginelli also shows extensive ability in the field of mental health care and counseling. Recently, Dr. Manginelli earned Fellow status in the American Psychotherapy Association. Prior to becoming a Fellow, Dr. Manginelli served the organization as a Diplomate for many years.



In addition to his lofty position in the American Psychotherapy Association, Dr. Michael Manginelli is a Certified Hypnotherapist specializing in the field of Forensic and Investigative Hypnosis. Dr. Manginelli was also recently certified in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and is doing research into different frequencies of light for healing. A passionate supporter of law enforcement and other civic programs, Dr. Michael Manginelli spends a good deal of time putting his skills to work in aid of Police Officers, State Troopers, Firefighters, and Emergency Services Workers. In the past, Dr. Manginelli has served as a Certified Instructor for the Essex County Police Academy, a Police Physician, and a licensed private investigator.



Dr. Michael Manginelli maintains membership in a number of law enforcement organizations, including the International SWAT Tactical EMS Association, the New Jersey State Police Honor Legion, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, serving in the Police Physicians section. Dr. Manginelli is also a certified member of the American Board of Forensic Examiners and Counselors and holds Level-3 Certification on the American Board of Homeland Security.



Dr. Manginelli recently became a Chaplain and hopes to continue contributing to the law enforcement community in this role. Dr. Manginelli is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, and Iowa, as well as South Africa, where he hopes to open a private clinic dedicated to treating patients with AIDS-related pain.
