As a practitioner and teacher of prosthodontics, Dr. Charles Silk, DDS has dedicated his life to improving the well being of his dental patients, specializing in complex cases. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS has been the Director and Clinician of his own dental practice in New York City for the last 25 years. He takes great pride in creating beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients and restoring their self-confidence. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS treats patients from all walks of life, including actors, models, and other celebrities. He also volunteers his time and skills by treating clinic patients at the NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS is known for taking on the most complex dental cases, and enjoys the challenges and rewards of using his expertise to improve his patients lives. Outside of his busy private practice, Dr. Charles Silk, DDS serves as the current President of the New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the co-Director of the New York Center for Cosmetic Dentistry. For the last 18 years, Dr. Charles Silk, DDS has also been an Associate Clinical Professor of New York Universitys College of Dentistry. His responsibilities include the specialized training of students to become prosthodontics specialists. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS has been recognized for his exemplary work in the field of prosthodontics with the I. Kenneth Addison Prosthodontic Award. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS currently lives and works in New York City, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. During his education, Dr. Charles Silk, DDS also worked fulltime as a New York University Administrator to put himself through school. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS is a generous donor to multiple charities, including the Hunter Mountain Ski Race Team and Breast Cancer Awareness. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS is also an accomplished athlete, counting skiing, cycling, and swimming among his favorite hobbies. Dr. Charles Silk, DDS was also a professional basketball player in Israel and former member of the Maccabiah basketball team during his athletic career.
