An accomplished manager with over 15 years of experience in sales, business development, and product management, Mr. David Aronica currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Education Design & Development for VMware, the global leader in virtualization solutions and cloud computing technologies. In his position, David Aronica is responsible for designing and developing educational materials for VMwares 2,700-person sales force, more than 20,000 corporate partners, and a large and diverse base of customers worldwide. A five-year veteran of the company, David Aronica has played an important role growing VMware from 600 employees and $250M in revenue to 6,500 employees and $2 billion in revenue. Prior to accepting the position of Senior Director of Global Education Design and Development, David Aronica served as Director of Partner Enablement & Field Readiness. David Aronica joined VMware in 2004 to serve as Senior Manager of Sales & Technical Field Readiness. David Aronica arrived at VMware after spending five years at Sun Microsystems, where he worked in numerous capacities, including Senior Business Development Manager and Senior Product Manager. Extensively educated, David Aronica received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. David Aronica also possesses an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. When he is not working, David Aronica enjoys staying active by biking and running. A charitable individual, David Aronica frequently incorporates fundraising into his races, having previously raised money for leukemia research as part of the Honolulu Marathon. David Aronica also biked from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for AIDS research.
