Dr. Dan Beers is an ophthalmologist at Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group in Mountain View, California. Thoroughly experienced in the use of state-of-the-art IntraLase and VISX systems, Dr. Dan Beers performs safe, effective Lasik surgeries and has undergone laser vision correction himself. Alongside his partners, Dr. Lee Shahinian and Dr. Mark Volpicelli, Dr. Dan Beers remains one of Mountain View and San Joses most trusted medical professionals.

In addition to his expertise in Lasik procedures, Dr. Dan Beers also performs cataract removal surgeries at his Mountain View offices. Creating only the smallest incision in the eye, Dr. Dan Beers is able to perform a cataract procedure in only 20 minutes. This allows for rapid healing that allows patients to return to work the day following their surgery. Dr. Dan Beers has completed advanced training to implant the Visian ICL in patients who are not candidates for either laser vision correction or cataract surgeries.

A longtime California resident, Dr. Dan Beers attended the University of California, San Diego, as an undergraduate and studied biochemistry and philosophy. During his time at UCSD, Dr. Dan Beers was selected for Phi Beta Kappa and earned NCAA All-American ranking as a tennis player. Upon his graduation, Dr. Dan Beers attended the University of California, San Francisco, for his MD and then undertook advanced ophthalmology training at Oregon Health Sciences.
