About Me

Subsequent to receiving a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Texas at Arlington, Dalell Mohmed went on to become a highly accomplished humanitarian with top responsibility in international crisis management, capacity building, and operations. Beginning her career with USFCF and the International Trade Administration in Dallas, Texas, Dalell Mohmed spent three years negotiating with businesses and organizations on behalf of United States firms seeking to export goods and services. Mohmed later joined One Globe Associates in Arlington, Texas, as a Consulting Partner. Still working with One Globe Associates, she has gained invaluable industry experience collaborating with academics and professionals on strategic assessments and training of NGO staff, business expatriates, and International Police Task Force for four countries. Transferring her keen international business knowledge and effective leadership back to Dallas, Dalell Mohmed assumed the role of International HR Analyst at Deloitte & Touche, Tomatsu, LLP. At Deloitte, Mohmed maintained top responsibilities, reporting directly to the Senior Partner. She effectually created and maintained an expatriate informative website researching and posting business, legal, and cultural realities of 80 countries. Dalell Mohmed soon after assumed the role of Relief and Capacity Building Consultant, providing recommendations and proposals in response to global emergencies. In this capacity, Mohmed led a mission working with World Food Program Kosovo Relief, implemented emergency relief plans for occupied Palestinian territories, headed Lebanons Wheel Chairs for the World mission, and managed Turkish Red Crescent with a $3.5 million program for earthquake rehabilitation. Currently, Dalell Mohmed employs her years of community service and civil society development experience in her position with KinderUSA. Serving as Executive Director of the non-profit organization since 2002, Dalell oversees operations and business affairs in international offices in Belgium, Israel, and the United States. In addition to her extensive resume serving as a public donor and civil servant, Dalell Mohmed demonstrates her commitment to the community through her contribution to various philanthropic organizations and causes. Mohmed is a generous donor of Save the Children, Ronald McDonald House, American Friends Service Committee, and Palestine Childrens Fund. Dalell Mohmed is currently a member of ACEVO (Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organizations,) ALNAP (Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance,) GWOB (Grantmakers Without Borders,) ADIF (Association for the Defense of International Humanitarian Law,) and CTN (Charity and Security Network).
