BIO



Prior to Universal Consulting, Inc., Mr. Santa Cruz was Senior Director of Design & Construction for Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc., owner, operator and franchisor of casual dining sports-themed restaurants located in 37 States. During his tenure, the company more than doubled in size constructing over 310 system-wide restaurants plus remodels and R&M projects in support of the asset base.



In addition, he was Project Director for Landrys Restaurants, Inc., specializing in high-end concept restaurants (Vic & Anthonys, Willie Gs), hotels (Inn At The Ballpark, San Luis Hotel Resort), and casual dining concepts (Joes Crab Shack and Landrys Seafood House).



Prior to the hospitality industry, Mr. Santa cruz launched his career in architecture, project management, and construction in private practice, federal government contracting, design-build, and high-end clientele corporate interiors architecture. Mr. Santa Cruz is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
