About Me

San Francisco-based attorney Cherie Beasley brings experience, intelligence, and a passion for justice to her current role as a criminal defense attorney with Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC. A member of the Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC team since March 2008, Cherie Beasley manages a large and active caseload spanning both state and federal courts. A fierce defender of her clients constitutional rights, Cherie Beasley has helped to secure favorable rulings in many of her clients trials. Cherie Beasley joined Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC after short stints with a private criminal defense firm in San Franciscos South Bay and the Marin County Public Defenders Office. Cherie Beasley also worked as a certified law clerk.



Prior to commencing her legal career, Cherie Beasley studied law at the University of San Francisco School of Law. An excellent student, Cherie Beasley was distinguished as a semi-finalist in the 2006 Advocate of the Year competition and received numerous commendations for her legal prowess, including the 2005 Best Oral Argument award. Additionally, Cherie Beasley was an active participant in USFs moot court, where she capably demonstrated her practical legal abilities. Cherie Beasley remains active in the USF community as a member of the USF Alumni Association.



Before she began studying law at USF, Cherie Beasley graduated from San Francisco State University with a dual Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Organizational Communications. Dedicated to her professional growth, Cherie Beasley is an active member of numerous prominent legal organizations, including the California State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. When she is not working, Cherie Beasley enjoys reading, playing poker with friends, and supporting local and national charities, such as the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, the American Red Cross, and the American Cancer Society.
