Currently serving as Senior Counsel to the Pastore Law Group in Stamford, CT, attorney Charles Robert Knight is a widely experienced and highly accomplished legal expert. Before becoming full-time counsel to the Pastore Law Group, Charles Knight was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Flight Safety Technologies, Inc. A member of the Flight Safety Technologies management team from 2005 to 2008, attorney Charles R. Knight directed international trade negotiations, managed SEC reporting and compliance responsibilities, and served as the companys chief liaison in government affairs and lobbying. Immediately prior to joining Flight Safety Technologies, Charles Knight was a litigator for Brown Raysman Law Firm, handling complex commercial litigation. With 35 years of experience, Charles Robert Knight has been involved in a wide variety of legal fields. Charles Knight first began practicing law as General Counsel to the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns, where he managed lobbying efforts for Indiana mayors. Attorney Charles R. Knights next position was as a Partner at Stewart & Irvin in Indianapolis. During his tenure with Stewart & Irvin, Charles Knight was elected a municipal judge, serving in Indianapolis from 1980 to 1988. Charles Robert Knight next joined the global insurance firm Aetna, where he held the position of Claim Counsel. In this role, Charles Knight oversaw the work of 200 attorneys, representing over 18,000 active lawsuits. Charles Knight took his experience in insurance law to his next position as the sole owner of his private practice. For 12 years, attorney Charles Knight managed cases involving employment law, patent law, and litigation. Attorney Charles Robert Knight earned his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law. Beyond his formal legal training, Charles R. Knight also attended the Notre Dame University School of Laws National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is a member of the American Bar Association. Outside of his professional endeavors, Charles Knight enjoys reading, traveling, and running.
