About Me

Buddy Gadams has established a positive reputation around downtown Norfolk, Virginia for keeping the community alive. With a passion for the arts and preserving his beloved community, Mr. Gadams has found a way to combine these two big parts of his life. As president of the Marathon Development Group, his company takes pride in restoring historic landmark buildings. His primary goal is to provide a unique living experience for the homeowners, while enhancing the entire community by restoring Virginias finest neighborhoods.



For Buddy, restoring his beloved community isnt the only thing that he has on his agenda. Mr. Gadams also avidly runs in various marathons, and has competed in more than 25 races, one of which was a 150-mile race through the desolate Sahara Desert. He is also a devoted supporter of his old alma mater, James Madison University, as well as the Suffolk Cultural Art Center, and the Downtown Norfolk Council.
