Brian Wentworth is a finance professional with an analytical background of internal auditing, claims operations and management, fraud investigations and financial and statistical analysis. Brian was most recently working as a Consultant at a large property and casualty insurance brokerage firm assisting the firm's clients with their property and casualty insurance policy coverage issues and claims loss matters of all types, including property, general liability, professional medical liability, hospital professional liability, theft, employment practices liability, worldwide cargo transit loss, umbrella excess coverages, commercial auto fleet and workers compensation. Brian Wentworth has also been employed as Director of Internal Audit for a large third party administrator in the disability field, the first in the corporation at the time and a position he created, implemented and managed across three corporate sites. In his role, he was responsible for overseeing all claim audit activity, both internal and external, by public firms, private contractors and state insurance departments. He was also the point person for the annual SAS 70 audits conducted by a Big 4 auditing firm and was liaison between the corporation's claim operations and accounting, systems, compliance, legal and actuarial departments. He was also involved in several corporate re-engineering efforts, reorganizing and streamlining several of the corporation's claim departments over several years. Prior to becoming Director of Audit, Brian was chosen to be the Boston Director of Claims, managing a staff of over 20 claims and administrative professionals when his prior employer was sold and he was hired on by the buyer to transition the claims operations from one corporation to the other. At the time of the sale, Brian Wentworth was employed as Senior Internal Auditor, also the first in that corporation's history and a position created specifically for his talents, expanding from the Special Investigations Unit where he was working at the time, and also one of two employees of a department of 44 to create that company's first SIU function.



When he is not working, Brian Wentworth enjoys giving back to his community. A passionate supporter of alcohol and substance abuse prevention and treatment, Brian volunteers his time in speaking regularly to patients and residents at numerous hospital drug and alcohol rehab facilities, transitional programs and mens and womens halfway houses. Brian will assist anyone of any age, however he mostly enjoys working with the younger patients and residents ages 18-30 where he feels he can have the most positive impact on their futures in avoiding long duration difficulties.
