About Me
Balazs Andras Khoor received a Master of Science in Economics from Florida State University in 2009, immediately following his dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and International Affairs. Currently, he spends much of his free time reading about politics and learning Spanish.
During his undergraduate years, Balazs Andras Khoor became involved in his schools student government. Khoor acted as Assistant Director of Student Legal Services, receiving a promotion to Director within a year. Balazs Andras Khoor also served as President of the Pre-Law Society. As a graduate student at FSU, Balazs Andras Khoor assisted the non-partisan research institute Florida TaxWatch in the publication of studies ranging from taxation to Florida government expenditures to public policy and other matters.
In addition to his leadership responsibilities with Florida State University, Balazs Andras Khoor spent his undergraduate summers volunteering with the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps in Jacksonville Beach. In 2005, Khoor was honored with a Three-Year Award for dedicating over 550 hours to lifeguarding and was promoted to First Registrar.
Balazs Andras Khoor enjoys traveling and reading the Economist and the Wall Street Journal.
