In 2004, Arun Baheti joined the Los Angeles financial services firm Marshall & Swift as Vice President. He serves as a dynamic company leader with familiarity in a full range of operations, including strategic and tactical business development. Drawing on years of experience in the government and financial fields, Baheti effectively plans, directs, and coordinates an extensive list of operational activities, including sales, development, product management, customer relationships, and external marketing. During his tenure with Marshall & Swift, Arun Bahetis financial expertise helped harvest extensive growth for the company. His diligent efforts took a poorly performing business unit and generated growth, while exceeding budget objectives and continually upholding elevated margins. Baheti strived to rebuild the companys brand, improve customer service, and establish Marshall & Swift as the leader in its space. In response to Arun Bahetis efforts, his division's revenues increased dramatically. With a background in law, Arun Baheti also manages a variety of complex intellectual property matters and regulatory affairs. In recognition of his successful professional efforts, Arun Baheti has built an extensive list of notable public honors and awards. Baheti received eWeeks Technology Managers Forums Technology Innovation Best Practice Award, the Wharton Schools Business Transformation Award in 2001 and 2002, Government Technology Magazines Best of Web Award, the Council of State Governments Award of Excellence, the International Electronic Government Conference and Expositions eGov 2001 Pioneer Award and eGov Trailblazer Awards in 2001 and 2002, and the National Association of State Information Officers Outstanding Achievement Award. A double major, Arun Baheti earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Science, Technology & Politics from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1993. He went on to study law at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1996.
