My Experience

An alumna of the University of San Francisco School of Law, Ms. Arlene D. Kock has achieved considerable recognition and success since obtaining her JD. After being admitted to the California State Bar and the Federal District Court in 1978, Arlene Kock began her career as a general practitioner and as an Associate Attorney with Alfred A. Affinito. Demonstrating an aptitude for law office administration, Arlene Kock quickly moved into a leading role as Managing Attorney at the Law Office of Yanello & Flippen. Two years after joining Yanello & Flippen, Arlene Kock established her own solo practice as the Law Offices of Arlene D. Kock in Hayward. CA.

Today, Arlene Kock serves Northern California clients from her firm located in San Ramon, California. Experienced in appearing before the courts and judges, Arlene Kock expertly guides clients through the complexities of divorce (including same-sex divorce), custody, child support, prenuptial agreements, spousal support, contempt, and post-judgment motions. Throughout her lengthy career, Arlene Kock has appeared in all 10 San Francisco Bay Area county jurisdictions. Since embarking on her career as a sole practitioner, Arlene Kock has assisted clients living in all parts of the world with their Northern California legal matters.

Committed to keeping abreast of evolving legal trends in California, Arlene Kock has been active in numerous organizations. A current member of the Alameda County Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association, Arlene Kock was formerly affiliated with California Women Lawyers, the Alameda County Bar Lawyer Referral Panel, and the California Trial Lawyers Association, among others.
