Dr. Anandhi Narasimhan is a multifaceted psychiatrist dedicated to leaving a positive imprint in society.
Dr. Narasimhan earned her M.D. from Ramachandra Medical College in India and completed her residency in adult psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Narasimhan decided to pursue her fellowship training in child and adult psychiatry at the University of California at Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Today, Dr. Narasimhan is a Board Certified Physician, accredited by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as the owner of her own private practice in Westwood, where she specializes in child trauma and neuroimaging research. Dr. Narasimhan serves as a clinical instructor at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and also serves as a child and adolescent psychiatrist for Aviva Family and Childrens Services, a non-profit contract agency with the Department of Mental Health that provides care and treatment to abandoned, neglected, abused and at-risk youth. Dr. Narasimhan is an established author of numerous publications and research papers. She has distinguished herself in this field of research, recently co-authoring a book chapter, Child and Adolescent Responses to Trauma which has proven to be a great success. Dr. Narasimhans fame continues to grow, as she appears on countless news programs (such as CNN and Fox News) as an expert discussant.
