About Me

Ajithaa Edirimane holds a Master in Law & Business (MLB), jointly conducted by the Bucerius Law School of Hamburg and WHU Business School of Vallender, Germany. She is an Attorney-at-Law & Notary Public and obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Colombo. She is also a holder of a Diploma in International Trade Law & Practice from the same University.



She has over 20 years of experience in the dual roles of corporate lawyer cum company secretary of commercial establishments dealing in merchant banking, shipping and manufacturing to property development having headed the Legal Departments of the companies in which she served in Sri Lanka.

Apart from being conversant in all aspects of legal work relating to condominium / multi-storey properties, she has published a book titled Understanding the Concepts of Condominiums which is a comprehensive guide on the application of the Apartment Ownership Law in Sri Lanka.

Real estate, condominium property transactions, International commercial arbitration, International sale of goods, Data governance, Competition law, Corporate governance, International trade relations, providing services for outsourced legal work, are some of her areas of interest. She brings a wealth of experience assuring reliable, effective and timely advice to all her clients.
