My Experience

Hi! My name is Amanda Theisen. I'm a news producer at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. I'm a former on-air reporter/photojournalist and a huge news nut. I also serve as Region 6 director for the Society of Professional Journalists, and as treasurer for the Minnesota SPJ Pro Chapter. In my spare time, I love to cook, shop, visit farmers markets, take walks around the beautiful lakes in the Twin Cities, travel and spend time with my wonderful husband, Scott. I'm a 2004 graduate of the University of St. Thomas (go Tommies!) and grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin (go Packers!)
